The time actually sort of flew right by. There was plenty of activity to keep the kids and I busy. The weather was nice for Minnesota standards. But to us Alaskans it was HOT!
It really was nice to be there instead of here while Ryan was out of town.
I was pretty reluctant to go because I was so down. But my friends and family convinced us to go. I am very thankful that they did. I was able to keep my sanity and able to find my sense of humor again.
We were able to attend my sister's high school graduation.

Visit family and friends.
I was ready to come home.
I'm ready to sort through my mail. The post office actually let me bring the basket my mail was collecting in home. I will return it today.
I'm ready to clean this house.
I'm ready to go through all the pictures I took. This morning I moved 1500+ photos onto the computer from our trip. Whew! Knew I take a lot of pictures but really, 18mb of full memory cards?
I'm ready to find a routine. One that hopefully includes a regular bed time.
I'm ready to sleep through the night again. And I'm sure my family is too.
I'm ready to putter on our yard.

But most of all I'm ready to for us to be a family unit again and make this house our home.
Looks like you had a fun trip. I'm glad you were able to go and have such a wonderful support network. Welcome back home! (If that makes any sense since I am not anywhere near your home) Isn't the security and peace of HOME wonderful?! Our own home is the best place to get back on track and in a routine. Happy home-making again! :)
