When I think of 'My Country' it brings me way back to grade school. When each and every morning we would stand facing the American flag and recite:

I pledge Allegiance to the flag
of the United States of America

and to the Republic for which it stands,

one nation under God, indivisible,

with Liberty and Justice for all. 

When I think of 'My Country' I also think of Independence. 

Just yesterday we celebrated Independence day, where we spent our rainy morning at our 4th of July parade.
